FreeDV Neo

A simple FreeDV RADE V1 client built for macOS. Download (Version 1.2.16). The main window dominated by a waterfall display. (Click images to enlarge).

The waveform at the bottom of the window, when receiving, shows audio from the receiver until the decoder has sync when it shows decoded audio. When transmitting, your microphone audio waveform is shown.

Note that rig control uses the hamlib shared library. I compile from source to get the latest, you can also install with homebrew. (brew install hamlib).

• Fixed an issue where audio devices could not be chosen if the previously chosen device is no longer valid.

• Fixed an issue where changing audio devices wouldn't always restart the decode chain

Added the ability to send an image as a "sonogram" so it appears on the receiver's waterfall. Thanks to VK3SRC for capturing this example:

Now shows distance from your grid square to each station on the FreeDV Reporter window.
