What comes after catastrophic?

Now that we have our first day of "catastrophic" fire danger here in NSW, I was wondering what might be next.

    Let's hope that there's enough latitude in the word "catastrophic" and that we don't need to go beyond that...

    People who live in forested areas in Australia should be well aware, it is designed to burn.
    So if you live in Maryville (in a state forest) don't expect any sympathy from me.
