If that's the case there's no problem blocking it and losing contact with your actual friend's account. There is a chance that their account has been hacked. Probably best to talk to them off platform to see if they know what's going on.Peter Markshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13007012724570360389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35901825.post-74715298904591882172024-03-19T03:48:22.734+10:002024-03-19T03:48:22.734+10:00I got 2 of these this week. When I look at the msg, it shows it is from a new account even though it has the cover picture of the account I friended. When I block the new account, I amMaryShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02317118573290601790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35901825.post-89433716249719300072021-09-29T07:08:39.464+10:002021-09-29T07:08:39.464+10:00Bas,

A red flag is the URL has nothing to do with anything I have ordered and contains .php somewhere. It is annoying and it seems to me that it should not be easy to spoof the sender.

73Peter Markshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13007012724570360389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35901825.post-30030438666867352512021-09-28T22:16:14.608+10:002021-09-28T22:16:14.608+10:00It is indeed a big concern. Why do people earn money this way...

Nr. 1 Scam here at the moment are the SMS that a package will soon arrive.
